Chris and Mindy
Sure, Sure, Sure! I don’t think I’ve laughed more during a wedding after spending the weekend with Chris and Mindy. They are a dream couple with a beautiful son and kept the party going all night long! Getting married at Vesuvius Vineyards in Iron Station, NC I couldn’t have picked a more serene backdrop for their special day! As luck would have it, both the bride and groom had wardrobe malfunctions right before walking down the aisle, but we handled it together like a champ! I know 2021 will be your year and you both together will do great things!

After spending a year together the day had finally come! Full service planning is lengthy and sometimes seeing the “end” is hard especially when Covid-19 loomed over us. Luckily we were pushed into phase 3 just in time and the festivities were a go! The weather was perfect and so was the bridal party! Getting married at Spinning Leaf in Shelby, NC, we got full mountain vibes in the background and the day was beautiful. Traditionally you don’t think adding black to a wedding will work, but boy did it ever at this edgy wedding! I wish the bride and groom all the happiness in the world!

James and Tori
Having a wedding is a special event in itself, but for this couple having James’ Dad officiating made this day even more special. I knew this couple for all of a few days and could see the amount of love they had for each other pouring out. The day was held at Westview Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC and was the cutest church you ever did see. The day itself was filled with family and friends gathered together to celebrate the happy couple! Congratulations to James and Tori and may you live a long and prosperous life!

Brooks and Aimee
I think we can all agree Covid-19 has changed the game for having a wedding, but love is not cancelled! Aimee and Brooks started their day at Queen of the Apostles Church in Belmont, NC where they shared beautiful vows and became Mr and Mrs. Leger! The party was moved over to Low Meadows Estate an adorable venue tucked away in the heart of Mount Holly, NC. This new venue is beautiful and has everything you could ever need. The day was filled with Aimee’s amazing smile and Brooks’ contagious laugh that filled a room. May you both have an amazing life together!

Luke and Monica
Covid-19 has certainly changed the rules of how a wedding looks, but what remains the same is the love between the bride and groom. If you would of asked any couple planning for their upcoming nuptials what was on their list to buy a mask would not have been one of them, but here we are. Luke and Monica had many challenges to face before they even walked into the doors of their church to get married, but they met every challenge with grace! The day started at Boyce Memorial ARP Church in Kings Mountain, NC where the couple created a seating chart to provide social distancing. The party continued over at Spinning Leaf in Shelby, NC and it was beautiful. The day was filled with masks and laughter, congratulations to the happy couple!

Jeff and Cathy
The weather may have not been the best on this chilly October day, but it held out just long enough to take some amazing pictures. The day was held at Farm Haven Vineyard and Event Venue in Lawndale, NC and is hidden if you don’t know where to find out! This venue is complete with a vineyard, barn and the gorgeous hills of NC. Cathy was a bride like no other and was very go with the flow! This happy couple was one of the sweetest I have ever met and it was such a pleasure working with them!

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, but when your entire ceremony and cocktail hour was planned for outside that’s not what you want to hear. The entire day it rained and we finally had to make a call and plan to have the ceremony and cocktail hour inside. With a little imagination and hard work the inside of Rolling Hills Farm in Monroe, NC became the rustic dream the couple was looking for. Not only were they surprised with the result, but the guests were more than happy to not get wet!

Zach and Amber
There’s just something so special about a downtown (or uptown) wedding that makes a wedding that much better! Zach and Amber were such a joy to work with and when the brides brings her own bottle of liquor you know it’s going to be a good time! Terrace at Cedar Hill in Charlotte, NC makes for the best drop back for your sunset pictures and puts the right amount of upscale into a wedding.

Sunshine all day makes for a beautiful wedding! The Campbells went in a non-traditional route for their flowers and used all wood flowers! You couldn’t even tell the difference and they were to die for. Having both their ceremony and reception at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC it was more than big enough for their enormous wedding party. In total they had 27 people which is the biggest wedding party I’ve coordinated to date!

Game of Thrones had a very heavy presence in this wedding and while I haven’t seen the show I felt like I did. From the unique handfasting and music played down the aisle all coming from the show it made for a great day. Having to do a flip from the ceremony to a reception space American Legion in Fort Mill, SC was a very accomodating venue to work with. A little rain couldn’t hold these two love birds spirits down and once the rain was gone the party went on!
